These Terms govern your use of the Rugby Predict mobile application (Rugby Predict: Picks & Tips, package com.insider08.rugby) and this website (rugby.shchypak.com). By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who we are
The app is operated by Rugby Predict ("we", "us"). Contact: rugby@shchypak.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. The app is not intended for minors. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. What the app provides
Rugby Predict provides AI-generated rugby union match predictions, fixtures, results, news digests, quizzes and optional social prediction features (groups, leaderboards, picks). Content is provided for information and entertainment only.
4. Not gambling
The app does not offer betting, accept wagers, facilitate gambling, or guarantee any outcome. Predictions may be wrong — rugby would not be rugby if it were predictable. Any decision to gamble is entirely yours and must comply with applicable law. If you gamble, do so responsibly. South Africa: National Responsible Gambling Programme — 0800 006 008.
5. AI predictions disclaimer
Predictions are generated by automated models using historical data, team news and weather inputs. Confidence scores reflect model certainty, not a promise of accuracy. We do not provide financial, betting or professional advice.
6. Accounts
Optional registration requires a valid email and password. You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.
7. Coins, ads and purchases
The app is free to download. Certain features use in-app coins, which may be earned in the app or purchased via Google Play. All purchases are processed by Google and subject to Google Play terms. The app may display rewarded video and interstitial advertisements via Google AdMob.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape or overload our systems
- Use the app for unlawful purposes or to harass others
- Misrepresent affiliation with Rugby Predict or any rugby union body
- Circumvent access controls, coin mechanics or ad consent flows
9. Intellectual property
The app, branding, UI and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Competition names are used descriptively; we do not claim affiliation with World Rugby, unions, clubs or leagues. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.
10. Third-party services
The app relies on third-party services including Google Play, Google AdMob, and our PocketBase backend. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.
11. Availability
We aim for reliable match-day service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features, competitions and content may change without notice. Maintenance or data-source outages may delay predictions or results.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on predictions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the app or breach of these Terms.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal information and forms part of these Terms.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of South Africa, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
